P. JoAnn Lindsey Kington, age 76, of Talbott, TN passed away at 9:40 p. m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Baptist Health Care Center in Lenoir City, TN. She was retired from the Darby House in Jefferson City. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Kington; daughter, Patricia Kington Wilkinson; and brother, Jimmy Lindsey. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Thomas) Bickford of Knoxville, TN; sons, Scott (Cindy) Kington of Morristown, TN, and Robert (Dara) Kington of Philadelphia, TN; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Lindsey; sister, Ellen Horner; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside funeral service. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Alzheimer’s Tennessee, Inc., 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919-6340.
