F. M. DAVIS, age 87, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. He was a retired dairy farmer, loving husband, father and papaw. Member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City for fifty plus years. Survived by wife of 61 years, Gerry Davis; children, Becky (Bill) Baxter, and Joe (Scarlet) Davis; grandchildren, Leslie (Austin) Rettig, Amy Baxter, Callie Baxter, Jonathan Davis, Anna (Eric) Laudon, Caleb Davis, Ethan Davis, Esther Davis, Taylor Kirk and Jake Kirk; great-grandchildren, Layla Grace Baxter and Chase Michael Davis; sister, Phyllis (David) Bates; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 at Eastview Memorial Gardens with Dr. Gene Wilder officiating.
