The Jefferson County Post is pleased to announce that local artist David Seal will have a showing on Sunday, December 13, 2015 in the reception room of the Jefferson County Post, located at 1237 Gay Street (the Vance Building) in the Historic Town Square in Dandridge. Seal is a native of Jefferson County, an educator and County Commissioner for District. 9. David’s art has been the subject of a show hosted by Carson-Newman University earlier this year and is a reflection of his ties to the heritage of Jefferson County and East Tennessee. He will be bringing some of his personal favorite pieces to share at Sunday’s show, which is a part of the Shoppes at the corner of Gay and Main Street’s Twelfth Day of Christmas. In addition to the showing of Seal’s lovely works of art, there will be vendor booths, special hours for Cosmo Boutique and the Dandridge General Store, as well some great food from Paddy Wagon’s mobile eatery. The event will kick off at 12:30 and end around 5 pm (rain or shine). It offers a wonderful opportunity to view the creations of a respected local artist, have a little lunch or snack and do some Christmas shopping as the countdown to Christmas begins!
