RALPH G. BYRD
RALPH G. BYRD, age 90, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday afternoon, December 17, 2015 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home following an extended illness. He was a member of the Hills Union United Methodist Church. He was retired from General Motors after 30 years and returned to Jefferson County following his retirement.
Preceded in death by his mother, Nova Byrd Etherton; step-father, Ben Etherton; brother, Frank Russell; step-brother, Bob Etherton.
Survived by his sons, Keith and Mike (Cindy) Byrd both of Michigan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Beck; step-brother, J.B. (JoAnn) Etherton; sister-in-law, Marie Russell.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday, December 20, 2015, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alfred Newman officiating. Interment graveside services will be Monday, 11:00am at Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, TN
