PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all County Commissioners and residents of Jefferson County, Tennessee, and to all other persons who might be interested, that the following committees will meet on Thursday, March 17, 2016, in the Jefferson County Courthouse, 202 W. Main St, Dandridge, Tennessee.  The meetings are open, public meetings.

The Jefferson County Audit Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Main Courtroom to elect officers.

The Jefferson County Finance Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Jury Room to elect officers.

Immediately after, at approximately 5:45 p.m., the Audit and Finance Committees will meet for a joint meeting in the Main Courtroom to review and discuss the audit summary and findings relating to the Jefferson County Annual Financial Report for the year ended June 30, 2015.  The Jefferson County Debt Management Policy also will be discussed.

NOTICE IS GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of the Tennessee Open Meetings Act (Sunshine Law) found in Tenn. Code Ann. § 8-44-101, et seq.
