INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for lawn mowing & trimming of county facilities and school sites.  We will accept separate bids for the county facilities and school facilities.  There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting for vendors on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Jefferson County Courthouse in downtown Dandridge.  School bids will be accepted for different sites.  For school site information and specs, please contact the maintenance office at 865-397-3436.  For a schedule of school site visits contact Eddie Hogsten at 865-919-6948.  For county facilities contact David Longmire at 865-397-3800.

Sealed bids should be labeled “MOWING & TRIMMING” and either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Finance Director Langdon Potts, at P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, Tn. 37725 or dropped off at 1244 Gay St., Dandridge, TN 37725.  Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, MARCH 22, 2016, at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department conference room.

Jefferson County reserves the right to ACCEPT OR REJECT any and all bids and to WAIVE ANY AND ALL IRREGULARITIES IN THE RECEIPT/HANDLING OF BIDS. THE AWARDED BIDDER MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON.
