Viewing the JCHS Bathroom Tape

I recently read the article that stated that there was a camera in the boy’s restroom at Jefferson County High School. My son attends Jefferson County High School and uses that restroom often. I would like to see the video that was taped and believe that it is my right to do so. Has anyone viewed the tape and how can I go about seeing it?

At the time of press on the article, Director of Facilities Phagan stated that even he had not viewed the tape. It has been stated on social media, but not confirmed by The Jefferson County Post, that there have been requests to view the tape that were denied. Contacting the school directly or the Central Office would be a way to make a request. It might have more of a response if it came from an attorney or was a written request that could be tracked.
