WILLIAM J. (BILL) COLLIER, age 84, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 2:45 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 at University of Tennessee Medical center following a brief illness. He was retired from Magnavox Corporation with 38 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by parents, William Howard and Lottie Mae Collier. He is survived by son, William Eddie Collier of Jefferson City; daughters, Tammy Denise Collier of Lexington, KY and Deborah Collier Goben of New Market, TN; granddaughters, Khadija Mariama Keita and Kayla LeeAnn Collier; grandsons, James William Collier, Jacob Ryan Collier, Terry Lee (Tiffany) Goben, Jr.; Calep Andy (Alycia) Goben; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby (Gene) Bettis and Imogene Horner; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. T. H. Ferrell officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with military honors by VFW Post # 5266.
