Kesterson Signs With Carson-Newman University
Kaylee Kesterson recently signed to attend Carson-Newman University as a member of their Music Department. Kesterson received the prestigious Tarr Music Scholarship, a full scholarship which requires the applicant audition before a committee. A member of the Jefferson County High School Class of 2016, Kaylee applied for the highly competitive scholarship earlier this year. On Saturday morning, May 14, 2016 she put pen to the line, joining the Eagle family.
Ann Jones, Professor of Music-Voice and Chair of the Vocal Division for Carson-Newman University, was on hand to welcome Kesterson to the program. Carson-Newman University is a member of the National Association of Schools of Music. Kaylee will be pursuing a professional Bachelor of Music Degree from the University.
Kesterson has become a familiar face, sharing her talent and performing at many local events. Kaylee is the daughter of Todd and Kim Kesterson of Dandridge.
