INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting separate sealed bids for cleaning services for the following:

Bid Package A:

  • Jefferson Academy, (4 portables) 341 West Broadway Blvd, Jefferson City, TN  37760

Quotes should include 4 times a week during the school year (10 months).  The bid package must be clearly marked “BID PACKAGE A – JEFFERSON ACADEMY.”

Bid Package B:

  • School Central Office Annex Building next to Dandridge Courthouse, 1107 County Lane, Dandridge, TN  37725
  • Adult High School Building, 201 W. Dumplin Valley Road, Jefferson City, TN
  • Family Resource Center Portable, 209 W. Dumplin Valley Road, Jefferson City, TN  37760
  • Professional Development Center Portable, 203 W. Dumplin Valley Road, Jefferson City, TN  37760
  • Technology Center Portable, 205 W. Dumplin Valley Road, Jefferson City, TN  37760

Quotes should include cleaning twice a week for 12 months at the Jefferson County Schools auxiliary buildings listed above.  The bid package must be clearly marked “BID PACKAGE B – JCS AUXILIARY BUILDINGS.”  The will be a mandatory pre-bid site visit on Friday, June 17 at 9:30 AM at 207 W. Dumplin Valley Road, Jefferson City, TN  37760.

Sealed bids should be mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Langdon Potts, PO Box 1749, Dandridge, TN 37725.  Bids will be accepted until 2:00 PM Friday, June 24, 2016, at which times bids will be opened in the Finance Department Conference Room.

The Finance Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling and acceptance of bids.  The Finance Director also reserves the right to award bid packages jointly or separately to achieve the lowest and best possible bid.
