The Mossy Creek Cruzers Car Club held a fundraising cruise-in at Glenmore Mansion on Sunday. The purpose was to raise funds for much needed repairs to the mansion, including adding to a fund that will help replace the front porch. The afternoon consisted of food and fellowship focusing on an enthusiasm for cars and helping the community. Glenmore is just one of many faces of the community that the car club has helped. Recently, they have given away scholarships to deserving seniors in advancing their technical school education.

Car enthusiasts gathered together to create the Mossy Creek Cruzers in 2012.The club consists of 55 memberships, mostly couples, with total membership adding close to 100. The cars featured in the club range from self-built restoration projects, to classics driven just for fun. Every Friday night the club can be found displaying their cars at Big Lots in Jefferson City. They will hold a variety of events over the summer, including a show at JMS on July 9th.
