Legacy Theatre is excited to once again host Zion Dance Company in their production of #KWYA and You Are Special. Zion is an exciting and skilled company of dancers that have encouraged and inspired all ages in their performances.

#KWYA (Know Who You Are) is a work designed to challenge the way we think about ourselves. It addresses relevant issues such as suicide, bullying, depression, and always trying to “measure up”. It asks the question, “What if things could be different?” This work will have audiences leaving with a sense of empowerment, self-worth, and value.

You Are Special is a show based on the award winning children’s book written by best-selling author, Max Lucado. Zion Dance Company is thrilled to have been given rights to turn his inspiring story into a production that will touch the hearts of children and adults alike. This story addresses the issue of self-image and self-worth as we learn that we cannot accept the labels that others might try to place on us. This performance will encourage children, and adults, to realize that they are special just the way they are.
