GERALDINE JOHNSON, age 89, of New Market, TN passed away Monday, July 4, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband, Cleophas Johnson; son, John Johnson; brother-in-law, Alfred Johnson. She was of the Baptist faith. Survived by daughters, Gwen Hampton (Fred), Sharon Nelson (Tom), Martha Wittman (Ervin); grandchildren, Kimberly, Katherine, Thomas, Jr., Kevin, Kelly, Megan, Sadie, Christina; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Flynn; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11;00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Hampton officiating. Graveside interment service will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
