NANCY BATEMAN, age 75, of Jefferson City, TN passed away July 15, 2016. She was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church, and was a former employee of Howmet Corporation in Morristown. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Geneva Watson, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, David Bateman; son, Mark Bateman and wife Katrina; daughter, Stacy Masters and husband Larry; grandchildren, Cayden and Colton Masters; brothers, Lawrence, Buford, Swann and Harold Watson; sister, Barbara Jean Smith; and several nieces and nephews; longtime friends, Terry and Diane Smith. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Henegar officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Monday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
