Wonderful Time Of The Year

Ah, my lovelies, it is that most wonderful time of the year! This week will find me fluttering from family event to family event and I will adore every moment of the time with those that I love. This week, I will be the welcomed guest and it is a role that I plan to enjoy to the fullest! During your week of festivities, be sure to take good care of yourself. Try to limit the overindulgence in drink and food so that you can make the most of your time with friends and family. A light snack in the afternoon is a good way to off set the sugar blues that can sometimes put a crimp in an otherwise wonderful day. Keep a handful of almonds to munch on and a few raw veggies in the fridge can be just the bite that you need to keep your energy high. Throughout the whirlwind of activity, try to catch a little cat nap when you can. If you just can’t eek out enough time for proper sleep, be careful about the amount of caffeine that you use to boost your energy. Remember, everything in moderation makes for a much more enjoyable week! So, put on your sparkles and shine, laugh often and always be aware that it is those with whom we choose to spend our time that count the most.
