The Jefferson County Patriots were victorious in defeating cross County rival Morristown West 60-25 last week. The Trojans traveled to Dumplin Valley in hopes of improving their record but met with a determined Patriots team and ultimately fell in defeat in the match up. The Lady Patriots hosted the Lady Trojans earlier in the evening and the game was much tighter.
The Lady Patriots lost to the Lady Trojans 55-45 in varsity action. The Lady Patriots were preceded by JV girls as they also lost to the Trojans with a final score of 41-17. The Patriots will be on the road for the remainder of 2012 as they compete in tournaments and will return to their home court on January 11th as they take on Cherokee High School.
