CHRISTINE MILLER BALES
CHRISTINE MILLER BALES, age 84, of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday morning, August 1, 2016 following a brief illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge and will be remembered for being a long-time legal secretary in the Dandridge community, beginning her career with attorney, Joe Felknor and then her long tenure with the law firm of Strand and Goddard, working many years for Ben Strand and Bill Goddard. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Bales; parents, Frank and Chloe (Hinchey) Miller; sister and brother-in-law, Jewell and Norman Patterson; and brother, William Henry Miller.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Marina Bales; grandchildren, Eric and Vicky Bales; sister-in-law, Evelyn Miller; niece, Susan (Monty) Sams and nephew, Bill (Trish) Miller; several great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
Funeral services, Wednesday, August 3, 2016, 11:00am at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel. Interment services will follow at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE.
