JEWELL RODDY
JEWELL RODDY, age 82, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday morning, September 15, 2016. She was born in New River, TN, the daughter of the late William and Etta (Burris) Daugherty. Jewell was a retired store manager for K-Mart and was a great cook and enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Charles Roddy; daughter, Christine Petracich; sister, Eva Phillips; brothers, Ernest, Parker and Buddy Daugherty. Survived by her children, Sharon Diane (Ronald) Huff and Charles S. (Annalyn) Roddy, Jr.; step-children, James Roddy, David (Brooks) Roddy and Barbara (James) Gavin; sister, Litha Penny Holt; grandchildren, Mark (Reginia) Scholz, Jack Scholz and Autumn Petracich; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Amanda, Ariah and Liberty Scholz; great great grandchildren, Zander and Zoey Scholz; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016, 1:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Norris and Rev. Mitchell Burris officiating. Interment to follow at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
