UT Officials Warn of Counterfeit Football Tickets

Saturday’s football game between the Vols and the Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama is sold out, which means that fans who purchase tickets from individuals in the area near campus face the risk of counterfeit tickets.

The UT Police Department has received reports from both the Florida home game and the Texas A&M away game of sellers trying to pass off fake tickets as real.

The UT Police Department and UT Athletics advise fans to purchase tickets only from trusted sources such as the UT ticket office or the opponent’s ticket office, or from family and friends.
