I was wondering where I would go to find if I own my mineral rights?

Much would depend on how long you have owned your home. You could start with taking a look at your deed. The Registrars Office also has documents that are filed regarding mineral rights but you may have to do a lot of digging, especially if you have owned your home for many years. If you just purchased or bought a few years ago you should have title insurance. Contact your title company and they will be able to help you find information.
