VELMA TALLEY REUTER, age 97, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Foster and Meadie Talley; brothers, J. C. and Buford Talley; grandson, Ryan Norton. Survived by sons, Tommy Long (Judy), James “Buzz” Long; grandchildren, Mike Long (Denene), Debbie Stepp (Mark), David Long (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Derek Long (Chelsea), Zach Long, Drew Norton (Heather), Taylor Long, Bradyn Long, Lauryn Ward; great-great-grandson, Kaden Norton; sister-in-law, Jenny Talley; caregiver, Myrtle Webb; and special friend, Bob Beeler. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Carter officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
