The Jefferson County Republican Party held their annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner at the Field of Dreams Activity Center on Friday night. The event began at 6:00 p.m. and featured speakers John Forgety and Beth Harwell.

The evening began with Republican members and supporters within the community being greeted with the national anthem and an introduction of officials and guests that gathered together for the evening’s festivities. Dinner was served afterwards. State Representative John Forgety spoke to the Republican Party members and was then followed by Tennessee House Representative Speaker Beth Harwell. Both spoke to the attributes of the party and what life was like as a republican in both local and national political levels.

Special Awards were presented to party members, such as The Republican Woman of the Year award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. After awards were presented, an auction was held to help fundraise for the Jefferson County Republican Party.
