LYNN ALVIN SLATON, age 75, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday afternoon, July 21, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alger and Mary Ellen Slaton. He is survived by his wife, Norma; children, Rick (Wanda) Slaton and Robin ( Jeff ) Brady; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and brother, Merle (Carolyn) Slaton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Missions at Faith Baptist Church, 118 Colossians Ct., Jefferson City, TN 37760. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 24, 2017, 7:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Dandridge with Rev.Mark Campbell and Rev. Jeff Brady officiating. Interment graveside services will be on Tuesday, 10:00am the Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at the church.
