Historic Mossy Creek brought Christmas home this weekend with the annual Jefferson City Christmas Parade. The parade was held in the heart of Downtown, and was a pinnacle event in the city’s Christmas celebration that afternoon. The parade featured a variety of local fanfare, including floats from local businesses, ranging from Bojangles, to home grown organizations like Habitat for Humanity.

Of course, we cannot forget about the floats of political candidates, fast classic cars, or horses and buggies that rolled along the street. Several area churches were seen spreading the message of the season. Other community fire departments and emergency personnel also made an appearance. The parade was a great way for the community to come together to kick off and share the delights of the Christmas season together.
