Bangs! Spring Fashion Trend Hair Style

Hello, Darlings. The hot topic this week is adding a little, ba, ba, bang to your look. The trend is sizzling right now and everyone from the cute, twenty something at the cosmetic counter to the First Lady is jumping on board the bang wagon.

Michelle Obama is current with the new trend with her latest hair style, and media has gone crazy applauding her freshly cut “BANGS”!

She does have a more youthful look and bangs are famous for the illusion of taking a few years off of the face. This new trend was published in fashion magazines as the ,”LOOK”, several weeks ago so my guess is her hairdresser was aware of the coming trend and suggested it to the First Lady, who always likes an up to date look.

Bangs can be an asset for many flaws as well. A low forehead, scars and wrinkles on the facial area can be masked by bangs. Definite attention is draw to the eyes, so those that consider their eyes their best trait should consider adding bangs to their current style.

Using the correct make-up for the eyes is important, when one has bangs. Always wear an eye liner, top and bottom, and emphasize the outer corner of the eye by extending the liner upward and smudging into the center crease of the eye. Follow with a natural color of eye shadow for day and a lighter shade under the brow bone. Light brown, taupe or smoky grey are great eye shadow colors for day, while Bronze, copper. Gold and jewel tones are dazzling and dramatic for night.

Don’t forget a liberal application of mascara and, for special events, faux lashes create that “MOVIE STAR” magic.

If one has naturally curly hair, my suggestion is to have the bangs straightened chemically, as this will prevent the frustration of the constant curling up or frizzing into a disaster as far as bangs are concerned.

So, my lovelies, if a fresher, younger appearance is desired-and who doesn’t want to look fresher and younger-try the new spring trend of very straight bangs.
