Last Chance to Register for Graceland Visit

Medic Regional Blood Center is offering one lucky donor a trip for two to Graceland—the home of Elvis Presley. Donors who give blood during the month of January are automatically entered to win the prize package that includes two tickets to Graceland, overnight hotel stay and a gas card. All donors will receive a limited edition t-shirt featuring Elvis. “Collections have been lower than normal due to so many people are battling colds and the flu, this area has been hit hard with sickness which has negatively affected our collections,” explains Christi Fightmaster. Donors must be well and healthy at the time of donation.

To get registered, visit a blood drive nearest you. Donors can also visit one of two donor centers: 1601 Ailor Avenue or 11000 Kingston Pike in Farragut. The bloodmobile will be in Jefferson County area on January 28 at Food City/Dandridge from 11am – 6pm.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds or more (16 year-olds weighing 120 pounds or more can donate but must have parental consent) and all donors must have positive identification.
