Jefferson County Closes Offices to Public

From the Office of Jefferson County Mayor Mark Potts:

Effective April 02, 2020.  Jefferson County Offices will be closed to the public.  The offices will be open for business via phone, fax, or internet.  We will have a drop box at the Courthouse ADA entrance.  The Courthouse Security Officer will monitor the drop box.  County offices will receive documents and will return these to customers via U.S. Postal service.

We are working on other procedures to assist our residents and will provide this information on our webpage www.jeffersoncountytn.gov when available.  This is a joint effort cooperatively with the elected officials of the courthouse and the county clerk.  The Kiosk for tag renewal is open 24/7 at the White Pine Police Department.   Should anyone have questions you may call the appropriate office during regular business hours.

County Commission Work Session scheduled April 13 and Regular Session April 20 are canceled.
