INVITATION TO BID – Gym Renovations at Jefferson Middle School
INVITATION TO BID
The Jefferson County Schools will be accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for gym renovations at Jefferson Middle School to include:
- Basketball goals removed and reinstalled 7 feet towards the exterior wall.
- Refinish gym floor to include removal of volleyball standard floor sockets and reinstall new standard sockets to fit new floor footprint.
- Removal of wooden bleachers and installation of new bleachers equivalent to Interkal 8 row with 10” ESM seats, 11 1/2” rise and 22” spacing with manual operation.
Sealed bids must be marked-“JMS Gym” -and either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the ATTENTION of Finance Director Langdon Potts, at PO Box 1749, Dandridge, Tn. 37725-or dropped off at 1244 Gay St. Dandridge, Tn. 37725. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department Conference Room.
The awarded bidder must be in good standing with Jefferson County, TN. The intent is to allow the contract start date to begin on Friday, July 17, 2020. All questions can be sent via email to tarnold@jcboe.net.
Jefferson County reserves the right to ACCEPT OR REJECT any and all bids and to WAIVE ANY AND ALL IRREGULARITIES IN THE RECEIPT/HANDLING OF BIDS. THE AWARDED BIDDER MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON.
