JCHS Homecoming 2020

Jefferson County High School presented the Homecoming Court this past weekend.

Representing the Patriot Academy and the freshman class were:

Eliza Collins: the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Bent Collins of New Market. She is on the JCHS girls’ basketball, volleyball, and track team. Eliza is on the A Honor Roll and enjoys swimming, spending time with the elderly and attending Young Life. Eliza attends New Market Baptist Church.

Brooklyn Satterfield: the daughter of Derek & Shana Satterfield of Dandridge. She is a member of the JCHS girls’ basketball and volleyball teams and plays basketball for Sevier Select. Brooklyn is an active3 member of Grants Chapel United Methodist Church of Dandridge and represents the freshmen class on the JCHS Patriot Events Council. She enjoys surfing on the lake and snowboarding.

Representing the Sophomore Class were:

Jazmine Maggard: the daughter of Sandra Holbrook of New Market and Tim Maggard of Jenkins, Kentucky. Jazmine is an honors student with passions for English, Art, Psychology, and Literature. She enjoys helping other people as much as she can and giving back to her community. Jazmine usually spends her free time outdoors, where she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and swimming.

Ashlee Sandidge: the daughter of Tracy Lusk and David Sandidge of Strawberry Plains. She is a member of the JCHS Track team and LINK. Ashlee is an AP and Honors student and is a member of First Baptist Church of Strawberry Plains, She enjoys skateboarding, reading and anything that has to do with Broadway.

Representing the Junior Class were:

Hanna Haston: the daughter of David & Laura Haston of Dandridge. She is a member of Patriots Events Council, HOSA, Patriot Pals and the varsity volleyball team. She also plays volleyball for Club Unite. In her free time, she enjoys wake surfing, working with kids and attending Young Life. Hannah attends The Crossing Church in Kodak.

Allison Self : the daughter of Stacy Self and the late Mark Self of Jefferson City. She is a member of FCCLA, HOSA, Jaguar Athletics and a member of the varsity cheerleading team. She enjoys cheerleading and teaching gymnastics. Allison attends Manly Baptist Church.

Representing the Senior Class were:

Emma Bowlin: the daughter of Colonel and Mrs. Brad Bowlin of Dandridge. She is a member of the National Honors Society, Beta Club, and is a captain of the Varsity Cheerleading team. Emma is a member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. She enjoys wake boarding, snowboarding and attending Young Life. Emma plans to attend Carson-Newman University in the Fall

Georgia Day: the daughter of Craig Day and Julie Puryear of Jefferson City. She is president of the Patriot Pals, a Beta Club member, and is on the JCHS Varsity Volleyball team. Georgia is a member of New Market Baptist Church where she is active in the youth group and praise team. She enjoys hiking, swimming, and painting.

Abby Dodgin is the daughter of Jennifer Dodgin of New Market and Brad Dodgin of Newport. She is a 4-year member of the JCHS Varsity Cheerleading team and a member of the National Honor Society. Abby has plans to continue as a cheerleader in college and she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and snowboarding.

Abbigale Gibbs: the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Marion of Dandridge. She is a dual enrollment, dual-credit, and honors student. She plans on continuing her studies at ETSU to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Abbigale enjoys singing, church and drag strip races.

Sidney Keck: the daughter of Kelly & Angie Keck of Dandridge. She is a member of the Beta Club, Leo Club, the Varsity Volleyball team and is the Co-leader of the Riot. Sidney enjoys playing travel volleyball and fishing. She plans to go to a 4-year University and play collegiate volleyball and major in Business.

Makayla Mills: the daughter of Adam & Kerri Cline of Dandridge. She is a member of HOSA, Beta Club, and the Science National Honor Society. Makayla is an AP/Honors student who holds a 4.3 GPA and plans to partake in the University of Tennessee’s Forensic Anthropology major. She enjoys walking her cat and working at the AMC movie theater of Morristown.

Ressa Parton: the daughter of Craig & Loretta Parton of Talbott. Ressa has been in the Patriot Ensemble for three years and loves to sing. She is known for her caring heart, has obtained her first aid certification and volunteers at the Urgent Care of the Smokies. She has been accepted to ETSU for the Fall of 20201 where she plans on pursuing a career in Nursing. She currently works at Publix in Pigeon Forge.

Taylin Phipps: the daughter of Alex Phipps of Jefferson City and Christy & Victor Blevins of Morristown. She is a member of Patriot Pals at JCHS. Taylin enjoys volunteering at Dandridge Elementary School and she plans to pursue a degree in Elementary Education at ETSU. She attends The Avenue Church and is active in the youth group.

Tori Woods: the daughter of Chris & Stacy Woods of Dandridge. Tori is a 4-year member of the JCHS Cheerleading team and Jaguar Athletics. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. Tori plans to attend Carson-Newman University ton continue her education and cheer abilities.
