Carson-Newman announces Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night, Feb 6, 2013

for Tusculum basketball games

The Carson-Newman athletic department will pay tribute to the faculty and staff of Carson-Newman as it transitions to university status during the men’s and women’s basketball games against Tusculum Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m.

Carson-Newman men’s and women’s basketball players will be passing out tickets to their professors in the two days leading up to the contests with Tusculum encouraging faculty and staff to attend.

Those employees of the university who do attend will be admitted for free as usual, but will have reserved seating in the blue chair back seats behind press row.

The athletic department will recognize and thank the faculty and staff present at the half of the men’s and women’s games.

Carson-Newman students are encouraged to stand in the section behind the visitors’ second half goal.
