CHRISTINA M. STRAINER (HINKLE), age 72 of Jefferson City, TN lost her battle with cancer of February 14, 2021. She was very crafty. She loved to crochet hats and blankets for other cancer patients as well as family and friends. She enjoyed singing karaoke, and loved spending her days with her beloved pet, Riley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chancey and Dorothy Hinkle (Gruszeczka); and her husband, Michael Strainer. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Shannon of Chatsworth, IL; sisters and brother, Matti Minor of Florida, Danny Hinkle and Donna Larson of Florida, April Phillips of Arizona; grandchildren, Tyler Hernandez, Stephen D. Shroba, Shelby Shroba, Jorie Shannon; several great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Lyons View Pike in Knoxville.
