Jefferson County’s Aaron Loy Wins Young Farmer Honors

Aaron Loy, District V honors in the Tennessee Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Achievement Award contest.

Jefferson County young farmer Aaron Loy took home the district V honors in the Tennessee Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Achievement Award contest. Loy was named this year’s district V winner based upon his farm and financial records from 2020, in addition to his leadership on the farm, in his community and in Farm Bureau.

Loy and his family own a diversified livestock operation with more than 200 commercial beef cattle and 700 finishing hogs. They also raise approximately 200 acres of hay for the livestock. Loy also serves as the current Jefferson County Farm Bureau president.

For this achievement, Loy receives $200 cash and $1,000 in Tennessee Farm Bureau services.
