Jefferson City Police Chief, Andy Dossett, Noah Sileno

Noah Sileno, a seven year old little boy from Knoxville is battling leukemia for a second time. Noah was first diagnosed at 3.5 years old with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. He relapsed at 6.5 years old in October of 2021. Jefferson City Police and Jefferson City Fire held a blood drive March 14 as a replacement drive for Noah. Officers, firefighters and members of the community came together as one to donate blood for Noah. Special thanks to the sponsors for donating door prizes and to Dr. Warren Stinson for providing lunch for the donors and the Medic crew members. Today Noah was made an honorary police officer, got to tour the police station, and even went for a ride in the fire truck. Congressman Tim Burchett joined the event and met with Noah’s family and Noah.
