CHARLES “CHARLIE” ROBERT BLAKE, age 74 of New Market, TN , passed away November 2, 2022. He was a member of Dumplin Baptist Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Army Vietnam Era. Preceded in death by wife, Brenda Kay Cate Blake; parents, Claude and Myrtle Blake; father-in-law and mother-in-law, D. F. and Wilma Cate; sister, Wanda Hornback; sister-in-law, Rhonda Stults; brother-in-law, W. A. Cate. He is survived by his children, Robbie Blake (Lora), Tameka McCampbell (Dewayne); grandchildren, Abbey Seymour (Gage), Kaylee McCampbell, Shelby Blake, Justin Ownby (Haley), Eva Ownby; great-granddaughter, Harper Claire Seymour; brother, Kenneth Blake (Carolyn); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pat Ballew (Kenny), Angie Brown (Frankie), Fred Cate, Ted Cate (Sharon), Richie Cate, Jack Hornback; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home. Military graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Cate Cemetery with Rev. Greg Snyder and Preacher Jason Jackson officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Ownby, Alex Brown, Gage Seymour, Luke Warwick, Caleb Bales and Austin Calfee.
