A primary election has been officially called by the Jefferson County Republican Party Executive Committee for the following races: Property Assessor, Road Superintendent, Constables, Road Commission Districts 2 and 4, and School Board Districts 2 and 4. The local nominating primary will be held on March 5, 2024 in conjunction with the Presidential Preference Primary.

Qualifying petitions for the above called races can be picked up at the Jefferson County Election Commission Office no earlier than October 16, 2023 and must be turned in no later than Noon on December 14, 2023.
