Invitation to Bid: Doublewide Portables

Jefferson County is selling two (2) Classroom Doublewide Portable Units as a set. These are NOT considered residential units. Both units are completely empty, contain one bathroom, and have windows. Both units contain rain damage. Size ranges about 28’x68’ together. Moving units will be at the expense of the bidder after school hours or on the weekend only.

All interested bidders MUST submit their bids in 1) Sealed Envelopes; 2) Envelopes MUST be clearly labeled with the following information: Attention to Julie Anglea, Purchasing Agent, “Doublewide Portable Units” 3) Official bid document found on the county website MUST be in sealed envelope. 4) Sealed bids can be mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN 37725 or dropped off at 1244 Gay St. Dandridge, TN 37725. 5) Bid acceptance ends at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at which time proposals will be opened in the Jefferson County Finance Department Conference Room. 6) The bidder is NOT required to be present. However, the bid winner will be responsible to pay the winning bid price within 7-14 business days of being declared the winner. All Sales are NOT FINAL until funds have cleared, please allow 7-10 business days to clear payment. 7) Once payment has been cleared, the title will be available for the units and the bid winner may take ownership of the units. 8) It is the responsibility of the bid winner to have the doublewide portable units removed from the premises within 30 days. 9) The awarded bidder must be in good standing with Jefferson County. 10) Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive all irregularities in the receipt and/or handling of Bid Envelopes.
