ETDD Communities Receive $2,339, 370 in funding from CDBG Grants

Congratulations to the following ETDD communities who received a cumulative $2,339,370 in funding from CDBG grants:

  • Caryville
  • New Market
  • Madisonville
  • Hamblen County
  • Roane County

ETDD staff has started working with the following communities for CDBG grants due in April.

  • Sweetwater
  • Union County
  • New Tazewell
  • Tazewell
  • Parrottsville
  • Harrogate
  • Scott County

ETDD staff is waiting on the approval of the following grants.

  • Broadband Connected
    • Hamblen County
  • Broadband DSEW
    • ETDD

ETDD’s grant team will begin compiling information for 2024 Community Development Block Grants. If your community is wanting to apply for a CDBG, your current CBDG must be closed out. The grant application deadline is April 5th.
