July 2024 general programming schedule. Programs and activities listed may be added to or cancelled as needed. JCPL will be closed July 4-6 in observance of Independence Day.

Storytime On Hiatus, will resume in August 6. Homeschool Story Time, Stories, songs, crafts, and games geared toward homeschoolers ages 5-10! Wednesdays, 10:30 am – Storytime, Go! Join us for stories, songs, and crafts designed to promote children’s early literacy skills. Geared towards children 3-5.

Thursdays, 10:30 am – Little Listeners A storytime for babies and toddlers to enjoy songs, books, and rhymes with their caregiver. Geared towards children under 36 months.

Adult Events Tuesday, July 2nd, (1st Tuesdays) 4:30 pm – Book Social for Adults, bring a friend and a book to swap. Refreshments provided.

Tuesday, July 16th, (3rd Tuesdays) 4:00 pm – Adult Mixed Media Art/Craft, pre-registration required. 865-475-9094 to register. Space limited.

Kids and Tweens Events Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30 pm, He’s Back! – Odie, the Habit Reading Dog, bring your kids to read to our gentle giant!

Thursday, July 18th, (3rd Thursdays) 4:00 – 5:30 pm – Lego Builders and Duplos Build something cool out of Legos or Duplos to display in the library. This program is geared towards children ages 3-12.

Thursday, July 25th, (4th Thursdays) 4:00-5:30 pm – Pokemon Club Bring your cards to play and/or trade! This program is geared towards children ages 3-Teen. Teen Events Monday, July 1st, 4:00 pm –Teen Craft Night– Morse Code Bracelets

Monday, July 8th, (2nd Mondays) 4:00 pm – Mystery Teen Night Join us as we work on solving a mystery! Snacks and drinks provided. This program is for teens & tweens 12-17.

Monday, July 22nd, (4th Mondays) 4:00 pm – Teen Chill-out at the Library Join us for fun, relaxing activities perfect to de-stress and make new friends! This program is for teens & tweens 12-17.
