Notice: Special Called Meeting

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Commission of Jefferson County, Tennessee (the “County”) will meet in a special called, open and public session at the Jefferson County Courthouse Monday, November 18, 2024, at 6:30 pm.  The purpose of this meeting is to discuss funding for the Jefferson County Libraries and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.

If a member of the public desires to speak at the meeting, he or she may do so in the manner provided in the Commission’s public input policy. A copy of that policy is available online at www.jeffersoncountytn.gov. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 844101 to 844106, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
