Notice of Meeting
of the Budget Committee of
Jefferson County, Tennessee

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all Jefferson County residents, County Commissioners, and all other persons who might be interested that the following dates have been set for the 2025 County Budget Committee Schedule for the purpose of considering all matters as may be properly presented for the FY 2025-2026 Budget, inclement weather pending, meeting at the Jefferson County Historic Courthouse:

March 24, 2025 5:30 PM – Review Non-Profits, Capital Projects & Debt Service Fund
April 14, 2025 5:00 PM – Quarterly Meeting
April 28, 2025 5:30 PM – 1st Review of Proposed FY 25/26 Budget
May 12, 2025 5:30 PM – 2nd Review
May 19, 2025 5:30 PM – 3rd Review
June 26, 2025 5:00 PM
June 26, 2025 6:15 PM – Public Hearing

If a member of the public desires to speak at the meeting, he or she may do so in the manner provided in the Commission’s public input policy. A copy of that policy is available online at www.jeffersoncountytennessee.gov. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8-44-101 to 8-44-106, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
