Town of Dandridge Prepares for Upcoming Winter Weather Event

Dandridge Mayor, Mike Chambers – As winter weather approaches, I want to take a moment to inform you about the preparations being made to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. The latest forecast indicates a significant snowfall is expected to impact our area in the coming days, bringing potential challenges to travel and daily activities.

Our dedicated Public Works Department is already taking proactive measures to prepare for this event. Salt and sand supplies have been replenished, snowplows are ready for deployment, and our crews are on standby to work around the clock to keep our roads clear and safe. Main thoroughfares and critical routes, including those leading to schools, hospitals, and emergency services, will be prioritized for treatment and plowing.

We encourage all residents to prepare as well by stocking up on essentials, staying updated with the latest weather reports, and limiting travel during the height of the storm whenever possible. Please exercise caution if you must be on the roads, and allow extra time for travel.

Our goal is to minimize disruptions while ensuring the safety of all residents and visitors. We are committed to working diligently throughout this weather event, and I encourage everyone to lend a hand to neighbors who may need assistance during this time.

Let’s all stay safe and look out for one another as we navigate this winter weather together. Should you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the Town of Dandridge offices at 865-397-7420.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we prepare for the days ahead.

Sincerely,
Mayor Mike Chambers
