Dandridge Memorial Library To Celebrate Take Your Child To The Library Day, February 1, 2025

On the first Saturday, February 1, 2025, Dandridge Memorial Library will celebrate the
international Take Your Child to the Library Day. Now in its 14th year, this annual event is
a wonderful opportunity for children to have fun while parents and caregivers learn
more about their library. Take Your Child to the Library Day will showcase all the free
resources local public libraries provide for families.

In addition to the regularly scheduled STEAM Team program at 11am for children to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, the library will have make-and-take crafts, a scavenger hunt and free stickers available from 9am to 1pm.

Dandridge Memorial Library helps families build solid foundations of literacy and love of learning
by providing access to books, early literacy storytimes, technology, homework help,
online resources, fun, safe spaces, and more.

Over 1,000 libraries will participate in Take Your Child to the Library Day this year.  To see
