INVITATION TO BID – Talbott Elementary School’s (TES) Addition & Renovation

Invitation to Bid (ITB):

The Jefferson County Board of Education and Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed Bids for “Talbott Elementary School’s (TES) Addition & Renovation”. A Mandatory Pre-Bid walk through will be held on May 29, 2025, at 10:00am ET at Talbott Elementary School located at 848 Talbott-Kansas Road, Talbott, TN 37877. A copy of the ITB, bid documents, specifications, project manual, and drawings may be retrieved on the county website at www.jeffersoncountytn.gov/finance-department. A bid bond, payment bond, performance bond, and retainage will be required for this project. Please see ITB for more details. Bids Must be: 1) submitted in a sealed envelope, with contractor form attached to outside envelope; 2) e nvelope must be clearly marked “TES Addition & Renovation” 3) official bid document must be signed and attached to bid documents. Sealed bids should be either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Purchasing Agent Julie Anglea at PO Box 1749, Dandridge, TN, 37725, or dropped off at 1244 Gay St., Dandridge, TN, 37725. Bids will be accepted until 2:00pm, Thursday June 12, 2025, at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department conference room. Late bids will not be accepted, opened, or returned. If awarded, the successful vendor is required to provide an Affidavit of Compliance with Tennessee Criminal History Records Check.

Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of ITB. The awarded bidder must be in good standing with the County of Jefferson. Jefferson County assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and as amended, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 (P.I. 100.259) be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Financial Assistance from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
