July 2025 general programming schedule. Programs and activities listed may be added to or cancelled as needed. JCPL will be closed July 4-7 for Independence Day.

Storytime Tuesdays, 10:30 – Homeschool Academy, Cancelled for the summer, will resume in August. Wednesdays, 10:30 am – Storytime, Go! Join us for stories, songs, and crafts designed to promote children’s early literacy skills. Geared towards children 3-5.

Thursdays, 10:30 am – Little Listeners, A storytime for babies and toddlers to enjoy songs, books, and rhymes with their caregiver. Geared towards children under 36 months.

Adult Events Tuesday, July 1st, (1st Tuesdays) 4:30 pm – Book Social for Adults. Bring a friend and a book to swap!

Tuesday, July 15th, (3rd Tuesdays) 4:00 pm – Adult Mixed Media Art/Craft, class size limited, preregistration required.

Kids and Tweens Events Thursday, July 17th, (3rd Thursdays) 4:00 – 5:30 pm – Lego Builders Club.

For Teens Up Mondays, 3:30 pm – Theatre/Improv Squad, Ages 13 and up! Lights, Camera, Action!

Tuesday, July 8th, (2nd Tuesdays) 4:00 pm –Rock Painting Workshop, ages 13 and Up

Wednesdays – 4 pm – Watercolor Club, Bring your own supplies and get creative! Fridays – 3:30 pm. Scribble Society, Geared for teens to adults. Bring your work in progress!

All Ages Food Truck Tuesdays @ the Library – 10 am – 2 pm, will continue in July with yummy lunches and sweets!

Tuesdays, 2pm – Summer Reading Program Activities July 1, Civil Air Patrol (US Air Force) – Fizzy Rockets July 8, Trevor and Lilli Roberts – Live Music and Coffee July 15, Indian Creek Productions – Native American Dancing July 22, Fuzion School of Arts – Performance Art July 29, Bright Star Theatre – Wizard of Oz

Tuesdays at 4:30 pm – English Language Learning Program for beginners, teens and up.

July 1st, Meet the Author, T.S. Kinkaid, popular local horror author. Ms Kinkaid will also be at the Book Social!

July 16th, 3 pm – 5 pm, Science Slam, ages 7 – 13. Think like a scientist, join the science fun!

July 23rd, 3 pm – 5 pm, Family Movie Night, Beethoven.
