Jefferson City Public Library – August 2025 general programming schedule

Storytime Tuesdays, 10:30 – Homeschool Academy, August 5th & 12th, cancelled 19th & 26th, resumes Sept 5th. Wednesdays, 10:30 am – Storytime, Go! Join us for stories, songs, and crafts designed to promote children’s early literacy skills. Geared towards children 3-5.

Thursdays, 10:30 am – Little Listeners, A storytime for babies and toddlers to enjoy songs, books, and rhymes with their caregiver. Geared towards children under 36 months.

Adult Events Tuesday, August 5th, (1st Tuesdays) 4:30 pm – Book Social for Adults. Bring a friend and a book to swap!

Tuesday, August 19th, (3rd Tuesdays) 4:00 pm – Adult Mixed Media Art/Craft, class size limited, preregistration required.

Kids and Tweens Events Thursday, August 21st, (3rd Thursdays) 4:00 – 5:30 pm – Lego Builders Club.

For Teens and Up Tuesday, August 12th, (2nd Tuesdays) 4:00 pm –Rock Painting Workshop, ages 13 and Up

Wednesdays – 4 pm – Watercolor Club, Bring your own supplies and get creative! Fridays – 3:30 pm. Scribble Society, Geared for teens to adults. Bring your work in progress!

All Ages August 12th, Final Food Truck Tuesday, come and have lunch at the library at the last truck of the season.

Saturday, August 2nd, 10:00 am – Summer Reading Program Activities – Grand Finale!
