A Night of Holiday Harmony: Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra Performs in Dandridge to Benefit the Dandridge Ministerial Association
The Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra will bring the magic of live music to the James D. Swann Performing Arts Center at Jefferson County High School on Friday, December 5th at 7:00 p.m. This family-friendly concert promises an enchanting evening of classical and holiday favorites that will fill your heart with the spirit of the season.
More than just a beautiful performance, this event carries a powerful purpose. Proceeds will benefit the Dandridge Ministerial Association (DMA) and its Food Pantry, which provides vital emergency assistance to families and individuals in need throughout South Jefferson County and the Dandridge community.
The DMA Food Pantry serves over 150 local households each month, offering help to older adults on fixed incomes, single parents, the temporarily unemployed, and families coping with large, unexpected expenses. Nearly entirely volunteer-driven, the pantry relies on the compassion and dedication of community members who work tirelessly to serve others.
The DMA operates as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and maintains strong partnerships with Second Harvest Food Bank and the Race Against Hunger, allowing the pantry to maximize resources and extend its reach to those in crisis. Supported primarily by local churches, civic organizations, and caring individuals, the DMA embodies the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors.
This event is also made possible through the generosity of community sponsors including Bush’s Beans, The Town of Dandridge, Shepard Inn, Visit Jefferson County, TN, Smoky Mountain Knife Works, David and Laura Haston, Edward Jones- Ben Catlett, Jefferson Title Inc., Patriot Printing, and Tinsley Bible Drug Store. Their contributions help ensure this cherished holiday tradition continues to uplift lives across Jefferson County. Organizers encourage additional sponsors to join in supporting this meaningful cause, helping expand the DMA’s ability to serve local families in need. Those interested in sponsoring can contact Jim Everett at (865) 850-3363.
“This concert is a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays while giving back,” said Harrell Webb, Dandridge Ministerial Association Director. “Every ticket purchased helps us provide food and assistance to neighbors who need it most.”
Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $8.00 for students and may be purchased in advance at:
Tinsley Bible Drug Store, Martha’s Market, Shepard Inn, The Unkind Raven Booktique, Field of Dreams Activity Center, Shoppes at Roper Mansion, Meeting Street Books & Café, Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, and Jefferson City Community Center. Tickets will also be available at the door.
