Notice of Meeting
of the Budget Committee of
Jefferson County, Tennessee

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all Jefferson County residents, County Commissioners, and all other persons who might be interested that the following dates have been set for the 2026 County Budget Committee Schedule for the purpose of considering all matters as may be properly presented for the 2026-2027 Budget, inclement weather pending, meeting at the Jefferson County Historic Courthouse:

March 16, 2026 5:00 PM
April 20, 2026 5:00 PM
April 30, 2026 5:00 PM
May 18, 2026 5:00 PM
June 15, 2026 6:15 PM – Public Hearing

If a member of the public desires to speak at the meeting, he or she may do so in the manner provided by the Commission’s public input policy. A copy of that policy is available online at www.jeffersoncountytennessee.gov. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8-44-101 to 8-44-106, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
