INVITATION TO BID – Carmichael Road Bridge Replacement over Long Creek

Request for Bids:

The Jefferson County Highway Department will be accepting sealed bids for the “Carmichael Road Bridge Replacement” over Long Creek. Sealed bids must be properly labeled and mailed to the Purchasing Agent at JC Finance Dept. P.O. Box 1749 Dandridge, TN 37725 or hand deliver to 1244 Gay St. Dandridge, TN 37725. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00pm on August 27, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. No pre-bid conference will be held. To obtain bidding documents and register as a plan holder, contact Jason Carder jacarder@matternandcraig.com from the issuing office Mattern & Craig located at 429 Clay St. Kingsport, TN 37660. Bid documents may be viewed at AGC, Builders Exchange, & Dodge Construction Network M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. Printed copies of the bidding documents may be obtained for a non-refundable cost from the issuing office. Contractor licensing, TDOT prequalification, bid security, bonding, & retainage requirements apply.
