INVITATION TO BID

Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBOE) will accept sealed bids until 2:00pm ET, November 12, 2026. Bids will be opened in the JC Finance Department conference room. Label bids “Jefferson Elementary School Renovation” and mail to Attn: Purchasing Agent, JC Finance Dept. P.O. Box 1749 Dandridge, TN 37725, or hand deliver to 1244 Gay St. Dandridge, TN 37725. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held October 29, 2026 @ 2:00pm ET, at Jefferson Elementary School, 321 W. Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City, TN 37760. A 10% Bid Bond is required. The awarded contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds in accordance with applicable TN law. Retainage is required and shall not exceed 5% of the contract. The contractor must be licensed and in good standing with the State of TN, Jefferson County, and Jefferson County Schools. Plans, specifications, drawings, bid documents, and additional information are available at www.jeffersoncountytn.gov/finance-department. Jefferson County/JCBOE reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities in bid receipt or handling.
