BETTY SHABDUE BURDETTE, age 75, of Dandridge, TN and formerly of Sissonville, WV passed away on March 8, 2013 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN after a long illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Burdette; parents, Charles and Helen Shabdue; brothers, Bob and Richard Shabdue; sisters, Emma Thorton and Dorma Fields.

She is survived by her sons, David (Teresa) of Culloden, WV, Gregory of Mt Olive, and Alan of the home; daughter, Joyce (Stu) Shirk of St. Albans, WV; brothers, Edward Shabdue of Dunbar, Michael Shabdue of Sissonville, and Jerry Shabdue of Dandridge, TN; sisters, Anna Burdette of Sissonville, Peggy Fields of South Carolina, and Helen Lawrence of Charleston; grandchildren, Joanna Parsons, Jennifer Beckner, Melissa Davis and David Burdette; also seven great-grandchildren.  At her request Betty will be cremated.
